Haidong Shipyard, founded in 1958, is a state-owned shipbuilding enterprise.
The Shipyard is located in No. 286 Waisha Road, Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province covers a building area of 280mu and enjoys a coastline which is more than 700m long. At presently, the Shipyard possesses more than 1,000 employees, including more than 100 medium and senior professional technicians. As a National First-class Level II Steel Shipbuilding Enterprise and the Vice President Unit of Zhejiang Association of Shipbuilding, the enterprise has passed certification of the quality management system, occupational health and safety management system, environmental management system, energy management system and the IT application and industrialization integration management system.
