Successful Launching of 35000DWT Bulk Carrier

On October 16th, our shipyard successfully launched 35000 ton bulk carrier built for Changhang Freight Co., Ltd. Leaders of Changhang Group, Changhang Freight Co., Ltd, Shagang Logistics, Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute, China Shipbuilding Trading Company, CCS Taizhou Office, District Bureau of Economics and Science, representatives of employees and cadres of Haidong Shipyard attended the ceremony and witnessed this important moment together.
Director of State-owned Haidong Shipyard Li Yanggang delivered a speech and expressed gratitude for always support of shipowner, classification society and each cooperating organization. He pointed out that this is the first cooperation with central enterprise in recent years, and expected to take this as an opportunity and further deepen mutual cooperation and exchange.
CCS Taizhou Office deputy manager Ying Sheng recognized that Haidong Shipyard make old brand state enterprise really alive by deepening the reform under new leadership in recent years, so that production and business are being increasingly prosperous. CCS would continuously provide quality service and assist shipyard in vessel inspection work.
Shagang Logistics chairman Zhang Jie compared the current shipping market to winter while he delivered a speech. He pointed out that vessel of Changhang Group launching soon is considered as “grain and coat” before coming winter. He said this vessel construction was of great significance for Shagang and Changhang, meanwhile, he gave best wishes to successful process of ship construction.
Changhang Group vice-general manager Zhang Ya expressed sincere gratitude first for all contribute to vessel construction. He briefly introduced Changhang vessel construction concept of “green development, intelligence and efficiency”. Meanwhile, he expected to achieve high quality development of shipping industry in multi-cooperation through operation of new generation 35000 ton bulk carrier of river-ocean combined transportation.
Changhang Group general manager Ding Lei named and unveiled the new vessel. Shagang project manager of Changhang Freight Co., Ltd Shanghai Zhang Li attended the ceremony of new vessel cable cutting and ship christening with champagne. Subsequently, new vessel successfully launched and safely berthed alongside the outfitting wharf.
Next, project team would scientifically control, forge ahead with mechatronic commissioning and mooring test to finish sea trial as soon as possible, so as to ensure the successful delivery of the ship.
