Strengthen Linkage of Department Construct Typhoon Defense Firmly

To prepare for prevention work of typhoon Khanun, the sixth this year, on August 2nd, factory leading group of typhoon and flood prevention held work deployment meeting. According to the higher authority’s requirement and factory’s typhoon and flood prevention plans, arrangements were made in meeting.
Combining the typhoon track and actual condition of astronomical tide, the work such as concerning typhoon trend, fastening hoisting equipment, protecting warehouse goods and reinforcing temporary wave walls need to be payed close attention. Meanwhile, all departments should put people first, stop operation during level III of typhoon emergency response, and also evacuate all personnel in construction area.
After meeting, facility and safety department carried out thorough inspection to key region and major facility in construction site, organized personnel to fill the flood prevention sandbags, heighten wave walls by pouring cement, transfer welding machine and distribution box in the lower areas to construct safety defense firmly.
On August 3rd, secretary of municipal party committee Li Yueqi and his delegation visited to the shipyard for guidance. He required shipyard to attach importance to typhoon prevention work, comprehensively carry out all kinds of precautionary measures, so that eliminate the hidden danger, and ensure the safety of the lives and property of staffs.
After typhoon recurvature, the shipyard organized staffs to carry out comprehensive inspection for facility in construction site, withdraw flood prevention sandbags orderly, clean up relevant area, then engaged actively in work resumption.
